You can delete your boy bye account yourself, from inside the app, at any time. You don’t need to email us and you don’t need to ask.
How
- Open bb and sign in.
- Open the Menu.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Confirm twice — we ask you properly, because this cannot be undone.
What gets deleted
Everything. Specifically:
- Your login and email address
- Every boyfriend, including his name and photo
- Every logged action and any notes you attached
- Every cycle and its letter
- Every letter you wrote to your future self
- Every item you earned
- Every custom action label you created
- Every message the app has shown you
- Every photo and background image you uploaded
Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no grace period, no archived copy, and no way for us to restore it afterwards. Please export or screenshot anything you want to keep first.
What is not covered
If you also joined the waitlist on boybye.tv, that email address sits outside your app account. Email hello@boybye.tv and we’ll remove it.
Residual copies in routine backups are overwritten on a rolling basis shortly afterwards.
Can’t get into the app?
If you can’t sign in, email hello@boybye.tv from the address on the account and we will handle the deletion for you.
